A real estate broker is general more experienced than a salesperson because there are certain requirements you must meet in order to obtain a NYS broker’s license. As a real estate broker you can hold your own place of business and have agents work for you. You can be a broker without having your own place of business however; you must then hold your license with another broker who will act as the principle broker. If you are a consumer and looking to sell or are on the market to buy, this is a great credential to look for.
